BOLLI in Bloom: Garden Tour with Richard Laing

Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM until 4:30 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

BOLLI In Bloom with Member Richard Laing

From Richard:

My wife, Leueen and I have gardened wherever we have lived in Zimbabwe, England, Newton, France and now Waltham. Our gardens evolve as we learn which plants grow well and where they grow best. We have a live and let live policy with rabbits so we grow rabbit resistant plants on the ground and rabbit sensitive plants in raised beds, containers and baskets. So visitors will see a range of perennials, annuals often propagated from cuttings, vegetables, bulb plants like begonias, oriental lilies and canna lilies. In addition, I will demonstrate various gardening technologies including rain water catchment, irrigation systems, grow bags, raised beds, revolving composters and a heated wormery.

Registrants will receive the exact address closer to the event date.
