BOLLI Lectureship Application

BOLLI Lectureships are held by faculty, especially promising graduate students, and recent PhDs, nominated by their advisers, other faculty, or former BOLLI Lecturers.

BOLLI Lectureships, which consist of a five- or ten-week residency, open doors for additional teaching in the higher education marketplace, and enhance your academic resume by garnering you a fully independent teaching experience.  Lectureships come with mentorship from current and former lecturers who have excelled in the BOLLI teaching environment.  You can see blog posts from previous lecturers, including some who served as Peer Mentors, here.

A stipend commensurate with the scope of responsibilities and the lecturer's experience accompanies the award. In some cases, the award is renewable.

If you are interested in being considered for a BOLLI Lectureship, please complete the form below by writing a one paragraph statement of interest, describing the nature of your teaching agenda, and in particular, your desire to teach in a lifelong learning institute.

Applications are appreciated from any academic field.  The award is competitive.  To acquaint yourself with recent courses taught, you may visit our Course Listings.
